Huts

Today we made huts in the classroom.
We had lots of fun making our huts in groups and then using them.

This afternoon we made an iMovie about our hut.
We took photos of our hut.
We made a short video of us talking bout our hut.
We added music into the introduction.
We added our video as "Picture in Picture" in our iMovie.

Do you like playing in huts?
Maybe you can make one to play in.
Here is some of our work.
JJ's Hut movie

Millie's Hut movie
Orlando's Hut movie

  1. Kia ora Room 4,
The huts looked like so much fun to be in. How long did you leave them up in your class? I think they would make a great reading cave!

We left them up for two days. We played in them, we read in them and we did drew pictures in them. Some people took food and fake money from the play shop to use. We had pillows, whiteboards, cars, blocks and books inside them. We had so much fun.
Have you ever made a hut?

    2. Kia ora Room 4,
yes I have made huts lots of times. When our grandchildren come to stay they use my old wooden clothes drying rack and blankets to make huts. They love putting them up on wet days so they can go into them like you did to read or have a picnic.
