Pāoa and Kiwa

For Inquiry, we are learning about Pāoa and Kiwa's voyage from Hawaiiki to Tūranganui-a-Kiwa.
Today, some educators from the Tairāwhiti Museum came and did sand art with us and we also made single hulled waka. The educators also let us explore Pāoa and Kiwa's journey on Google Earth using i-Pads.
We will post pictures of our waka  on our individual blogs later in the week. Be sure to check them out and leave us a positive and helpful comment.
